Happy Monday everyone! I've been really hoping to start blogging again, but it seems like I keep getting side tracked, and end up not getting anything done. BUT, today is the day! I'm going to jump in head first, and try to be sure to post like I say I will! So, today's Monday Musing is about my favorite YouTubers, and my intention to start vlogging as well!
I know that I have not really been able to keep up with this blog, but I've been feeling like vlogging would be a good way to keep a journal of what is going on in my life. It might also make it easier to have content for this blog! I feel like sharing your day online can open you up to making friends with people who you wouldn't normally have met. And although you also open yourself up to ridicule and haters, I feel like the reward is worth it!
I've lately been finding a lot of inspiration from the following Youtubers:
Taylor R is a J-Vlogger, who lives in Tokyo, Japan. She often does daily vlogs showing what she gets up to in her every day life in Japan, with some days holding more interesting outings than others. I love that she is able to create content even on days when she simply stays at home. She also creates series videos and videos about things she finds inspirational! She always seems so very kind and genuine, and I would love to have a channel similar to hers!
It's Black Friday, or Freyja NicLeoid, is a Goth Youtuber originally from New Zealand (now living with her husband in Germany). She's definitely one of the most popular Goth Youtube stars, and I'm pretty sure you all know about her. I like how whimsical her videos are, and would love to be able to put some similar whimsy into my own videos!
Simon and Martina are definitely my favorite couple Youtube channel! They are always so cute and fun in their videos, and although Martina is struggling with an invisible illness, they always look on the bright side of things! Their channel mainly focuses on their travels to different countries, and their love of things from said countries. (They first lived in S. Korea, and now live in Tokyo). I would really love to include some type of traveling video series in my own channel with fun videos like theirs!
So, those are the main vloggers that I watch! I also watch other Goth Youtubers, J-vloggers, and some miscellaneous ones like Dan Bell, We Are The Strange, and Casey Neistat. Everything I watch inspires me to create my own content; so one of these days I will give it a try! Wish me luck! :)
