Sunday Funday: 2 Year Anniversary!!!

My husband and I's 2nd wedding anniversary was on the 25th of April, so we went out to celebrate on Friday night, by using a coupon I got from Sirloin Stockade (thrifty, right? lol). Here are a few shots from our date:

It doesn't look super exciting, I know, but we were glad to have a little time away from the baby! We got to go shopping without her, and it took waaaay less time than normal!

We are also going to go out to see the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie after it comes out, as part of our extended celebration! (We always go see comic book movies together for dates!) So, look forward to that post! :)

Series Saturday: Tarot Decks - Night Sun by Lo Scarabeo

The series I've chosen for today, and May, is Tarot decks that I would like to own. I will start today, with the newest tarot deck I have purchased, and then dive into the four decks I would like to purchase next! So, without further ado, here we go:

The deck I currently own, and use is the Night Sun Tarot deck by Fabio Listrani and Lo Scarabeo. It is an absolutely beautiful deck, with a very gothic style of artwork! The artwork makes this an esoteric deck, with lots of hidden symbolism within the images. These cards definitely need to be studied to further understand the meanings behind each card! I will continue to use this deck for the weekly tarot card, until I receive another deck!

Here are some images from online:

Tarot Tuesday: The Ten of Swords

The tarot card of the week is:

The Ten of Swords from the Night Sun Tarot Deck

The Ten of Swords from this deck most usually symbolizes a death of sorts (even more so than the actual "Death" card), usually a personal crisis, perhaps something medical. It would make sense as I've been having a headache since last Saturday..
Hopefully I get a better card next week!!!

Monday Musings: Fave Youtubers & Vlogging?

Happy Monday everyone! I've been really hoping to start blogging again, but it seems like I keep getting side tracked, and end up not getting anything done. BUT, today is the day! I'm going to jump in head first, and try to be sure to post like I say I will! So, today's Monday Musing is about my favorite YouTubers, and my intention to start vlogging as well!

I know that I have not really been able to keep up with this blog, but I've been feeling like vlogging would be a good way to keep a journal of what is going on in my life. It might also make it easier to have content for this blog! I feel like sharing your day online can open you up to making friends with people who you wouldn't normally have met. And although you also open yourself up to ridicule and haters, I feel like the reward is worth it!

I've lately been finding a lot of inspiration from the following Youtubers:

Taylor R

Taylor R is a J-Vlogger, who lives in Tokyo, Japan. She often does daily vlogs showing what she gets up to in her every day life in Japan, with some days holding more interesting outings than others. I love that she is able to create content even on days when she simply stays at home. She also creates series videos and videos about things she finds inspirational! She always seems so very kind and genuine, and I would love to have a channel similar to hers!

It's Black Friday, or Freyja NicLeoid, is a Goth Youtuber originally from New Zealand (now living with her husband in Germany). She's definitely one of the most popular Goth Youtube stars, and I'm pretty sure you all know about her. I like how whimsical her videos are, and would love to be able to put some similar whimsy into my own videos!

Simon and Martina are definitely my favorite couple Youtube channel! They are always so cute and fun in their videos, and although Martina is struggling with an invisible illness, they always look on the bright side of things! Their channel mainly focuses on their travels to different countries, and their love of things from said countries. (They first lived in S. Korea, and now live in Tokyo). I would really love to include some type of traveling video series in my own channel with fun videos like theirs!

So, those are the main vloggers that I watch! I also watch other Goth Youtubers, J-vloggers, and some miscellaneous ones like Dan Bell, We Are The Strange, and Casey Neistat. Everything I watch inspires me to create my own content; so one of these days I will give it a try! Wish me luck! :)
