Easter Sunday

This was Lilith's first Easter. (No, we don't celebrate it as a Christian Holiday, but rather a combination of the commercialized holiday, and the pagan holiday.) We went to my hometown with my mother and celebrated with her side of the family. Here are a few pictures:

New Graco Car Seat

After we received our tax refund this year, we had plenty of extra funds from Lilith being born. She was slowly creeping towards 30" long, so it was definitely time to buy her a new car seat. Since we had a pretty much unlimited budget for this, we decided to go with the Graco 4ever Car Seat, since it adapts through all stages of child car safety. It was easy to install in my car, simply snapping onto the bars in the seat, like her old car seat's base. It's really well made, and looks really comfortable. Even though it's dark colored, it doesn't get too hot in the sun, which is good. She seems to really like it, and it's definitely way easier to carry her than carry her in her car seat. I would highly recommend this car seat to anyone. If you have $300, you could even buy this as a first carseat, as it seats a newborn 4 lbs and goes clear up to 110 lbs.

Trader Joe's Indian Meal

Tulsa just got its first Trader Joe's, and my husband and I stopped by to check it out. Everything was so reasonably priced, and they had a great variety. We decided to have an Indian lunch, and purchased quite a few products. Below is what we bought:

Everything was incredibly good! Spicy and flavorful! Except for the Chimichurri Rice, which was tangy in a Peruvian style, not Indian (my husband picked that out). The Aloo Chaat was incredibly spicy (I had to drink milk with mine). Would definitely buy everything again!

Growing Up Fast

Today I've decided to write about Lilith's growth. She's going to be 8 months old this week, and she's already wearing 12-18 month size clothes. She was in the clothing that she was "supposed" to be in up until last month, when she had been eating solid foods for a whole month. Now she's just growing sooo fast, it's crazy! I started putting her in 12 month clothes about three weeks ago, and her torso is already too long for most of the onesies and shirts. So, I had to get out the 18 month clothing, which are still a bit long. She has definitely gotten my odd body shape, long torso, short arms and legs.

Here's a picture of her in her "big girl" clothes:

P.S. Sorry I haven't been posting. Been A LOT going on.
